SP Commends Organizers, Groups For Successful Fiesta Celebration

JOB WELL DONE.

With this favorable assessment of the successful holding of the recent fiesta celebration, legislators congratulated and commended the Promote CdeO Foundation, concerned agencies and the people of the city for what can be called as the most organized celebration ever.The City Council adopted a resolution acknowledging the efforts of the Promote CdeO Foundation for steering the recent festivities making it a peaceful, colorful and lively affair.Also commended were the Philippine National Police regional office, the 4th Infrantry Division of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Cagayan de Oro Police Office, and the City Tourism Board headed by Josie Aleniabon and First Lady Divina Jaraula for the successful Ms. Kagay-an competition, which is one of the highlights of the fiesta celebration.Councilor Alden Bacal, chair of the City Council committee on tourism and official coordinator of the city for the annual feast, said compared to other fiesta celebrations, this year’s was the best.He said the activities and highlights were well planned and organized and he anticipates that the next year’s affair would be even better with the support and cooperation of all.
