ECC stands for error correction codes and are usually used by servers.

Unbuffered and non-ecc is basically the same. Mao ni nga mga memory ang mostly gamit sa ato mga PC karon.

ECC memory cost more the non-ecc memory and with no real advantage kung normal workstations lang ang mogamit.

sa 2 nko ka memory specs will the CAS really matter? one is 4 optmized daw and d other one is 5. unsa imng paliton ani...?

Yeah, I think the lower the CAS the faster the memory is. So sa imo gilista duha, mas paspas tong memory 1 with CAS 4.
