Is it just me or Firefox 3 loads websites really fast?

For those who haven't tried it yet, you got to try it. Download Firefox 3 now!

Downloaded it during the Download Day for helping Firefox set a World Record for the most downloaded software in 24 hours. I've waited it for hours before the launch and unfortunately, the website was down 1AM Philippine time. But still got it 8 hours after and it's fine with me.. was able to get a personalized Firefox 3 Download Day certificate too!

Take time to read some related topics during that event:

I downloaded it on Download day with no difficulty. As far as using it is concerned, I put it in one of my " B " ( standby ) PC's . For the moment I still prefer using I E . I will have to spend some time using Firefox 3 to see if I like it better or not. The PC techs where I work have used Firefox for years and to them they think it is better than I E .

I use Firefox on an everyday basis both at work and at home. There are many reasons why I choose Firefox over IE (specifically IE6/7), and they both have to do with the way webpages are rendered with the browsers. Compliance to web standards are in the up and up on Firefox compared to IE, and it's also more responsive now (FF3) than ever before. And yes, it's quite fast. And it doesn't take up a lot of memory, unless you've opened a lot of tabs. Plus, there are lots of extensions that make life with FF a lot easier, compared to IE.

Agree. Firefox 3 is a lot faster than IE or Firefox 2.
