Just got a new LCD: 19" image size; 1440x900 @ 60Hz max resolution

I think I have the same lcd as this one.

I'm having a fuzzy text, blurry and I don't like it really. The images are stretched too.
Do you guys have any idea how am I gonna fix this?

My current screen resolution is 1280x1024 and I'm using an on-board 256MB VGA graphics. I'm running Ubuntu gutsy gibbon.
I don't have much idea when it comes to hardwares and issues like these.

Please share.

Have you tried changing the resolution, try 1024 x 768.

Is that a wide screen monitor?

a wide screen monitor, yes. I have tried all resolutions. same ra gihapon. I don't know unsay temporary solution ani while waiting to buy a new video card.

Hmm... Seems like your onboard video card can't handle the resolution recommended for your monitor. Palit jud ka bag-o

Try daw ang 1440 X 900 resolution if available.
