Nagtake-effect na to. I save like almost 2.5k per payday (almost 5k a month)! Though I was thinking what would be the effect of this to our economy? Mas maliit tax mas kukunti pera ng Pilipinas... Hmmm...

this has taken effect last July 7, 2008.
and according to the draft Revenue Regulation from BIR, the Increased Tax Exemptions for this year will be prorated in computing for the annual tax payable of the employee. kinda complicated, but at least the government did something better to elevate the status of the workers.
