joefrey wrote:Yes! It is possible.
for example. you have two background images namely bg_red.gif and bg_green.gif
let say your current background of your page is red.
body{ background: url(../images/bg_red.gif);}
and if you want to change the background into green, all you need to do is to change the background image name to from bg_red.gif to bg_green.gif
So it will become:
body{ background: url(../images/bg_green.gif);}
You've noticed that we only touch the CSS code and not the html code.
Hope you find it helpful.
Thanks,
Joefrey
No. What I mean is two background images at the same time. The workaround I find is style html and body tags, the problem with this is that some doctypes does not support styling of html tag and one of our client is using that doctype
. I need to do this because as I have said, I have no control over the html codes. If I had, I would have changed the HTML codes entirely.I hope CSS3 will be fully supported soon by all browsers. This is one of the features included in CSS3.
mabuc wrote:Hmm, thats quit simple but you have the point. maau maau, pwede mag ask? need ba jud nato gamiton ang css hacks in terms developing CSS websites, is there a way nga dili nata mogamit anang css hacks? please let me know guys Im new here.
It depends.
If you're dealing with third-party products/clients sites which you don't have full control, you need to. But if you're not, then make it conform with standards.
In my case, I'm handling this web apps for our client that we have limited controls. Some CSS tricks is really handy in my case.

@mabuc. As we all know there's a lot of people used IE browsers specially those people who are using Microsoft product. We, as a web developer should used CSS hacks if the site that we built didn't behave properly on that certain browser. However, we should avoid of using CSS hacks. I recommend to use css reset from eric meyer. http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/css/reset/
